Obituary for Phyllis E. Spadotto (Stookey)

Phyllis E. Spadotto, 82 of Marcellus passed away Wednesday February 20, 2019 at St. Camillus Health and Rehab Center. Born in Leesburg, IN, she was one of 13 children to the late Carl and Helen Graebell Stookey. She worked for many years at the family construction company Spadotto Construction as a bookkeeper and retired from Seville Custom Homes where she was also a bookkeeper. After retirement she volunteered at Community General Hospital. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards, playing bingo and doing puzzles. She loved Elvis, the Philadelphia Eagles, her rose gardens, horses, bowling and her dog Bella. She was predeceased by her husband Angelo, and daughters Lorna Spadotto and Julie Spadotto Farnett.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters Angela (Bill) Copp, Lana (Jeff) Martens, son Mark Spadotto, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She also leaves behind 5 siblings and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Phyllis at 10 a.m. on Tuesday February 26 in St. Mary’s of the Lake Church, Skaneateles. She will be entombed in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Skaneateles. Friends may call on the family from 5-7 p.m. Monday February 25 at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus.
Memorial donation may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
